Due to the reconstruction works, consultation facilities and a new outpatient hospital have been provided, thus ensuring that chaotic scenes of countless patients flooding the Children’s Hospital become a thing of the past.

Mrs. Ogerta Manastirliu, Albanian Minister of Health, inaugurated the new premises of the Paediatric Wing today. “It is thanks to these [Megapharm] funds that we are now able to provide inpatient and outpatient services in a separate fashion. In doing so, we are offering our medical personnel improved facilities, whilst helping patients that come in for either consultations with their doctors or outpatient services at the University Hospital Paediatric Wing.”

The rehabilitated wing can now provide consultations in four subspecialties of Paediatrics.
